Large mounted albumen photograph of a Michigan camp scene.  A handwritten identification is on the back that reads Detroit Cadets, Oakland Grove, St. Clair, August 1888.  We see a large number of tents erected with cadets milling around the camp.  A large wooden barrel is center background along with what appears to be the mess tent.  This is directly below a banner of President Grover Cleveland who would lose the election later that year.  Cleveland won the popular vote but lost the Electoral College to Benjamin Harrison.   An interesting image in very good condition.  It is identified on the back to C.G Wynn & Co.’s. 242 Woodward Ave. Detroit, Michigan.    There is some typical light surface wear with some extremely light fading on the perimeter.  Some wear also visible to the mount.   It measures 7 7/8”x 9 7/8”with the mount.
